Here we have provided you with some of the top brands of commercial dog treats and the ingredient statements and some limited nutritional information that they provide on their packaging. Some of the commercial treats provide the calories per treats, like the Milk Bone dog treats and Iams commercial dog treats (remember aside from crude analysis, they are not required to list calories).

Take a look at the ingredients statements in these commercial treats for the items to figure out if these are the types of treats you really want to feed your dog. We found particularly interesting the Beneful Treats. They contain chicken by-product meal as the first ingredient and also contain artificial color and flavors (artificial peanut butter flavor!!!!) Also, the Pupperroni snacks that claim "Real Chicken" on the front, the second ingredient is BEEF BY-PRODUCT!!!
